Return, Refund & Exchange Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Body care items are not returnable unless deemed defective.

To start a return or exchange, contact us at hello@meltmecandleco.com. If your request is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label and instructions. Items sent back without first requesting a return or exchange will not be accepted. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon receiving and contact us within 7 days if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item. Include photos of the product, inner and outer packaging, and shipping label so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom products (such as special orders or personalized items)

  • Body care products (unless defective, as confirmed by Melt Me Candle Co.)

  • Sale items

  • Gift cards

Exchanges

All exchanges must be requested by email at hello@meltmecandleco.com within 30 days of delivery. Exchanges must be approved before shipping your item back. Items sent without prior approval will not be accepted. The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to request an exchange, return the item once approved, and then make a separate purchase for the new item.

Gifts

If you received an item as a gift, we can issue a gift credit once the return is approved. Customers are responsible for return shipping.

Refunds

We’ll notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund is approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Undeliverable / Wrong Address Returns

Packages returned to us due to incorrect or incomplete addresses can be shipped at the buyer’s expense, or refunded minus the original shipping cost.
